This past weekend we took our first trip to the cabin as a family! Sawyer has been suffering from a pretty nasty cold and we were home sick Monday and Tuesday but thankfully she was well enough to make the trip! Her cough is still lingering but the fever is long gone and so is the runny nose. Not sure if her cold is due to teething (she's cutting her top two teeth) or if it just made the cold worse but either way, we'll be glad when the teeth finally come through and the cold is gone. These teeth have been slowly making their way in over the past couple of weeks and I hope they cut through soon!
The weather could have been better but it also could have been worse. I'll take overcast and 60's vs. rainy and even colder! We didn't do a ton outside but we did play in the yard for a little while, I went for a jet ski ride (I couldn't test it out last year due to being preggers), we went for a walk and sat by the fire. My dad drove over to visit on Sunday and it was nice to see him before he heads back to work, in MI this time. Although we didn't go for a pontoon ride this time, we did sit on the boat to give the kids some exposure to it. Sawyer was pretty excited about standing on the seat and watching the water. Uncle Tony caught a fish on the dock so she got to see her first fish too :)
Playing at the cabin.
Cousin play time.
Silly kiddos.
Hey there Easton!
Loving being outside and on the pontoon.
So many things to see.
Standing on the pontoon.
Watching the boys out in the fishing boat.
First of many baths at the cabin in the sink.
Easton playing in his turtle.
First trip to the cabin went well. We can't wait to go back when the weather is nicer so we can take Sawyer out on her first pontoon ride!
