7 months have come and gone and we've been enjoying each day with our Sawyer. I know I've said it before but she is just such a happy baby! We've been blessed with such a wonderful little girl.
At 7 months...
-Sawyer weighs ~ 16 lbs 10 oz
-Is wearing 6-9 and 9 month clothes
-Has moved into size 3 diapers
-Just the two bottom teeth still
-Sits like a champ now. She has no problems bending over to pick up toys or turning around to look at one of us.
-Is working on crawling but can't figure out that her butt and head need to go in the air. She is either pushing herself up with her arms or she buries her head in the ground and goes up on her toes with her butt in the ground.
-Loves dogs, especially Maple. However, just about any dog will put a smile to her face and make her laugh. It's adorable.
-She went for her first run in the Bob. She was so excited she took a nap ;)
-She went to her first softball game to watch dad play.
-Still being swaddled however, the day after being 7 months we graduated to the Merlin Magic Sleep Suit and so far, it's been great. She is still getting up once to nurse, but no swaddle. Hopefully in the next couple of months we can move out of the sleep suit.
-Is iffy about solids. Some she likes, others she only takes a couple bites of. So far her favs seem to be bananas and pumpkin.
-Is a little snuggler. I love cuddling with her at night before she goes to bed.
-Is ticklish! Esp her neck but you can tickle her just about anywhere.
-Loves her jumperoo. This girl has some strong legs, she goes to town!
I'm looking forward to the next month and watching Sawyer's personality come out even more! She started talking even more in the past week and she is just so much fun :)
